I started Bridge Training Consultants in 2003 to correct a problem. Workplace trainings were too often dull and boring, wasting time, instead of providing valuable information. Workers tuned out, and who can blame them? I had an idea.
The best way to engage any audience is to add humor, so I created trainings that did that, led by professional trainers who are also professional entertainers! We deliver the same information, but we do it in a way that engages attendees, encourages them to participate and increases their ability to learn and take on information.
We started by providing a safety program that incorporates prizes and awards, a safety wheel of fortune, and music. Individual workers, teams and departments are recognized for their contributions. Safety suggestions are acknowledged and rewarded, and safety becomes a higher priority. Workers actually look forward to the meetings and appreciate the recognition.

We provide sexual harassment prevention training using the same approach. Attendees are engaged as our trainers act out different scenarios of what is – and is not – acceptable behavior. Instead of a dull, legalese recitation of rules, our trainers use real world scenarios to answer questions and clarify what constitutes harassment, and what to do about it.
Our newest training deals with a topic that has become almost mandatory for many organizations: Unconscious Bias and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). We provide this training differently as well. Instead of the standard DEI training that focuses almost exclusively on race and gender, we teach the value of true diversity, and the benefits to organizations that provide equality of opportunity, rather than equity defined by outcome. Diversity of ideas, of viewpoints and perspectives, from people with diverse backgrounds is more valuable than limiting diversity that is simply measured by skin color or gender.
For training that is different by design, and more effective, we are Bridge Training Consultants.
All I want to say is WOW, Richard was absolutely amazing and what a great job he did. He trained 759 People Yesterday
The employees have not stopped approaching me to let me know that this was the best training that they have ever had.
They said they were dreading this 1 Hour training, but how the time flew due to the Conversations/Teachings, as well as the interactions he had with the team during this training.
Thank you... Brenda did a great job of keeping the employees engaged throughout the entire training, and mixing demonstrations and stories to explain all the concepts. Both the Spanish and English trainings were wonderful. I thought this was much more effective than the video trainings or in-house trainings we have done in the past.
Richard's training was once again fantastic! He really does an excellent job of keeping the group engaged throughout the training. I'm always amazed at how many compliments I get on the training after. In fact, our CEO joined the first training on Tuesday 9/15 just to compliment Richard on his presentation and how much he got out of it last year. Thank you again!
Your training was the best we have ever had - on any topic! It's because the trainer kept people engaged and interested, and they learned much more than usual.
Thank You Richard for your amazing job! You make us laugh, learn and be proactive! Thank you again.
