When it comes to the different forms of harassment that can occur in the workplace, sexual harassment is one of the most common types of instances. What exactly constitutes sexual harassment? The US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) defines it as the following:

Towards the end of 2019, California laws were expanded to require sexual harassment training for employees of all levels from entry level workers to executive leadership roles. The new training curriculum that California has introduced is design to inform teams about newly revised parameters and boundaries that are considered to be work appropriate and ones that can constitute harassment. These new laws were passed in an effort to cut down on discrimination in the workplace – also introduced in this new legislation is the requirement on the part of managers to take two additional hours more than the baseline requirement. If a promotion has occurred within the company, the two additional hours of training must be undergone within six months of the position change and once again every two years after that.
Under these new California and federal laws, the liability of sexual harassment has also shifted. As an employer, a company’s legal liability for the actions taken by their employers and managers has increased. Now more than ever, sexual harassment training is necessity in legal protection against potential legal action. The first step is to contact Bridge Safety Consultants today or schedule one of our classes online. Our courses are entirely unique in that we engage employees through comedy and relatability. Despite our informal style, our training is entirely compliant with state and federal regulation. Our approach is to inform rather than to warn, to demonstrate rather than lecture, and engage our audience through direct question and answer both in a physical setting and through online learning. The Bridge Consulting team’s Has been valuable and I want to reiterate – that group is exceptional!
All I want to say is WOW, Richard was absolutely amazing and what a great job he did. He trained 759 People Yesterday
The employees have not stopped approaching me to let me know that this was the best training that they have ever had.
They said they were dreading this 1 Hour training, but how the time flew due to the Conversations/Teachings, as well as the interactions he had with the team during this training.
Thank you... Brenda did a great job of keeping the employees engaged throughout the entire training, and mixing demonstrations and stories to explain all the concepts. Both the Spanish and English trainings were wonderful. I thought this was much more effective than the video trainings or in-house trainings we have done in the past.
Richard's training was once again fantastic! He really does an excellent job of keeping the group engaged throughout the training. I'm always amazed at how many compliments I get on the training after. In fact, our CEO joined the first training on Tuesday 9/15 just to compliment Richard on his presentation and how much he got out of it last year. Thank you again!
Your training was the best we have ever had - on any topic! It's because the trainer kept people engaged and interested, and they learned much more than usual.
