Human Trafficking Awareness training can have a huge and positive impact on saving the lives of children from this horrific crime. There is a measurable drop in human trafficking in hotels where the housekeepers and the staff have been informed of what to look for, and how to safely report it. All our initial trainings are done in person, because it’s more effective that way. Any training is more effective when the attendees are fully engaged and interested. Videos aren’t able to accomplish this, but our trainers specialize in it. Bilingual trainers do a great job of connecting and are greatly appreciated.

Under California’s Criminal Justice Laws for 2020, under SB 970: Human Trafficking law:
“Operators of motels and hotels in California must provide training to teach its staff how to identify victims of human trafficking”.

Our training programs are designed to provide the best tools to empower your teams to be aware of what sex trafficking is and how to look out for signs in order to prevent the crime from taking place at your hotel or motel.

Our training program consists of:

  1. Video, we start with a 5 minute introduction emphasizing the horrors of underage sex trafficking.
  2. Power Point Presentation, we outline the most common signs that trafficking may be taking place, and the success rate when it is detected and reported.
  3. In-Person Training, our trainers discuss each of the signs, answer questions, and provide information on how best to respond.
  4. Case Studies and Tests, we will include case studies to bring key examples and will have a tests to measure the employees understanding of sex trafficking prevention and awareness.
  5. Certificate and other materials, a formal certificate will be provided to each property, which can be displayed in the lobby. We will also provide small pocket-sized cards which are designed to be carried by housekeepers as a cue card to what to look out for.
  6. Monthly information mailer, we will ensure that all recipients of training through the property manager is kept up to date on all changes and successful strategies.
  7. A dedicated website, our active, dedicated website provides up to date information and answers questions.
